Our socks will shrink a little in their first washing; however, they are knit on the larger size to accommodate this and do stretch out once worn again. We recommend you machine wash your socks on gentle. No bleach. Dry on cool.For a more eco-friendly cleaning process, we recommend you hand-wash your socks and air-dry them.
*Air-drying your clothes can reduce the avg. household’s carbon footprint by up to 2,400 lbs. a year!

First of all, let me say, I hate socks. I have very sensitive feet and I cannot tolerate the pressure that socks put on my feet. I haven't worn socks for years...until now. I love these socks. They are very soft. I wear a women's size 9.5 shoe. I bought the socks in large. They fit me great. Not too large but not so snug that they put pressure on my toes. For that extra "old hippie" look, I wear them with my Birkies. I have them in Mirage, Azure, Sunny, Dune and Morning Glory. Mirage is my favorite color so far. Not garish, but not boring. Dune is a close second. The first pair of Mirage socks had a run in the heel. The company graciously and quickly replaced them. They washed well in cold water. I air dry them.
